Lenders require valuation of property for security purposes. A registered valuer is instructed to inspect a property and ascribe a value from analysis of recent transactions. Chapel & Co works exclusively with CKM surveyors for secured lending work.

A valuation for probate is generally required where Inheritance Tax is to be assessed following death. The valuation is at the date of death and strictly excludes any hope value.
We prepare reports as expert chartered surveyors where the valuation has to be placed before a court or tribunal. These reports need to be in accordance with Civil Procedure Rules.
